ANHW Boston Invites you to Tour the Isabella Steware Gardner Museum Followed by a Social at Hojoko.

The ANHW Boston Chapter Steering Committee invites you to join our first Fall 2023 event on Thursday, November 9 with a visit to the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum followed by a social at Hojoko - Japanese Tavern.

The museum's ongoing special exhibit, "Inventing Isabella," displays art, fashion, and photography that Isabella Stewart Gardner used to shape her public persona. She aptly deployed these tools to manage her enigmatic charisma without losing personal space and time, and as we navigate our postgraduate careers, we have much to learn from her inventiveness. At the meet and greet at Hojoko (1271 Boylston Street, Boston), you will have a chance to share your take on the exhibit and hear how other Harvard women are carefully and bravely paving their way.

We will convene at 6:30 p.m. near the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum (exact location TBA, near 25 Evans Way, Boston).  Around 7:30 pm, we'll head together to Hojoko for a social hour starting at 8:00 pm. The event is pay your own way for food and drinks.

Interested in joining?
1) Purchase your own museum entry ticket for November 9th at 6:30 pm ($20)*

If you can't make the museum visit, feel free to join us after the museum visit at Hojoku at 8:00 pm (1271 Boylston St, Boston).
