We are kicking off spring with a topic on climate change and investing. Join us for a fantastic online session with HBS Alumnus, Karen E. Wilson, Founder of GV Partners, to learn about the evolving landscape of sustainable finance.
About the session:
Interest in impact and sustainable investing continues to grow, with a rising number of funds promising higher returns and positive social impact. At the same time, there is an increasing chorus of criticism concerning funds "greenwashing" and making false promises.
This online session will provide an overview of the evolution of impact and sustainable financing, including the roles of private and public sector players and new financing models and approaches. Participants will also be introduced to the growing landscape of frameworks and tools that companies and investors use in their impact measurement and management strategies.

Karen E. Wilson, Founder, GV Partners
Karen, who holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School, has over 30 years of experience in finance, including capital markets, venture capital, impact investing, and sustainable finance. Currently, she works with firms on sustainability and impact strategies and serves as a Board Member and Senior Advisor to asset management firms and impact and venture capital funds. In addition to leading work on entrepreneurial finance, impact investment, and impact measurement at the OECD for over a decade, she co-led the launch of the Impact Management Platform.
